VANILLA
Vanilla planifolia
With over 25 years of experience working with passionate farmers all around
Indonesia, Tripper is one of few companies in the world that handles vanilla
from its earliest stages.
We oversee the production of our top-quality organic vanilla from hand
pollination to green pod, and finally to perfectly cured vanilla bean.

THE PERFECT BEAN
Total collaboration with nature is needed to hand pollinate the delicate vanilla orchid. On just one day of the year, each of these orchids has a window of only a few hours for hand pollination to occur. It then takes up to 9 months for high quality vanilla pods to grow. Once harvested, the green beans are dipped in hot water, starting an enzyme process which will develop the aroma, before being sun-dried in our curing facility.
VANILLA PRODUCTS
Spray-dried vanilla powder is a quick and easy way to incorporate classic vanilla flavor into many applications. We don't add sweeteners or any other additives that risk diluting the flavor and quality of our extract powders. Spray-dried products possess a more subtle flavor than their ground counterparts but allow for longer shelf life because of their lower microbial count. We use organic rice maltodextrin in all of our spray-dried extracts. Spray-dried vanilla powder is a quick and easy way to incorporate classic vanilla flavor into many applications. We finely grind our carefully selected vanilla beans resulting in fragrant, earthy granules with a rich and complex flavor profile. Ground vanilla can be used to replace extract or whole beans in many applications.
